HISTORY OF SCHOOL

St. Joseph’s High School, Pushpagiri, managed by the Franciscan Clarist Sisters, St.Joseph’s FCC province Thalassery trust. It was established in 1974 in a rented building at Manna, Taliparamba. It was shifted to Pushpagiri in 1980. It got recognition as an L P School in1983. In 1994 it was upgraded to an Upper Primary (U P) School. In 1996 it was upgraded as a high school and got recognition from the Govt.in 2005.

The school focuses on giving quality education to children in northern part of Kerala. A devoted management, a team of well qualified and dedicated teachers and PTA are the strong pillars of this school.

St. Joseph’s School aims at imparting sound, spiritual, moral, intellectual aesthetic and physical education, to prepare the students to face the challenges of the day to day life in the changing world. Education makes the students aware of the social realities and enables them to keep abreast of the modern society. It trains him/her to accept a new life style.

Every one is bestowed with unique qualities and here in St.Joseph’s High School Pushpagiri we cherish the uniqueness of the individual in the Methodist education, we take care of each pupil as we are made in the hands of God focusing on the formation of the child’s heart. So the teachers put in a lot of effort to stretch out pupil’s talents helping them to learn how to serve with courage and a generous heart. It is not an easy task at all but with God’s blessings everything is possible.

St.Joseph’s High school edifice the faith, it is the crystallization to the dream of our patron St.Joseph. The aim of the school is the over all development of our students. We are aware to the fact that all cannot be outstanding scholars but we are committed to inspire both the gifted students and the less gifted ones. So that they can reach their true potential. Focused academic pursuits, along with a wide range to extra-curricular and co-curricular activities. Students at St.Joseph’s School therefore grow to become mature and responsible global citizens. We believe that our school has the obligation to inculcate the spirit of accommodation patience and tolerance, which are so essential in today’s world.

St.Joseph’s High School Pushpagiri endeavors to provide the best infrastructural facilities and all the prerequisites of a memorable, enjoyable, healthy and a wonderful school life: spacious well ventilated classrooms, laboratory, well stocked library, smart rooms and open play grounds. The beautiful and secure campus nestled amidst serene and pollution free environment.

Aims & Objectives

St.Joseph’s High School, Pushpagiri aims at imparting sound spiritual, moral, intellectual, emotional and physical education so as to prepare the students to face the challenges of the modern world. Through education we make the students aware of the social realities and enable them to keep abreast of the modern society.  Our motto is “Love and Service”.

Through education we enable the students to be morally upright, socially committed, spiritually oriented and intellectually well informed. We make sure that education develop in them concern for the marginalized. Our institution organizes programe to attain the above aim in accordance with the National Education Policy and rules and regulations stipulated by the authorities.
